Overdue and unreturned materials prevent other customers from borrowing these shared resources. We take the steps below to ensure prompt return of items.
Fines are charged for items returned after their due dates. You can pay your fines at any library location by cash or cheque.
When an account has an outstanding balance of $10 or more, borrowing privileges are suspended.
Fair access to library items for all customers is important to us and the timely return of borrowed items makes this possible. The Library sends your account to a collection agency if you have items 60 days or more overdue or $25 or more in fines.
If you have questions about outstanding charges on your borrower record, please contact us.
