Park Permits & Passes

Ontario Parks

The Niagara Falls Public Library is proud to announce that we have partnered with Ontario Parks to lend out day-use vehicle permits. Each of our 4 library locations will have 3 permits available for library customers to borrow.

The permits provide free day-use access to any of the 100+ Ontario Provincial Parks where fees are collected. The pass does not include camping fees, but is for day use entry for all occupants in the vehicle (excluding buses).

You can borrow a permit from the Niagara Falls Public Library once a year for up to 3 weeks. To do so, please call us at 905-356-8080 or visit our online catalogue to place a hold. All you need is a valid Niagara Falls library card.

"Getting outdoors and spending time in nature can have a profound positive impact on our health and well-being, and this has become even more evident during COVID-19," said Jeff Yurek, Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks. "Cost should not be a barrier to enjoying these important benefits, which is why we are helping to make Ontario Parks more affordable and accessible to all."

For the most up to date information on park locations and operating dates, visit www.ontarioparks.com.

Important: Beginning June 7, 2021, library customers who have borrowed a day-use permit must contact Ontario Parks to book their visit at reservations.ontarioparks.com or by calling 1-888-ONT-PARK (1-888-668-7275).

The Daily Vehicle permit does not guarantee park entry. Park capacity limitations as well as COVID-19 restrictions may apply.
