December is just around the corner and you do not want to miss our exciting virtual programs!

Bookgartners is back! Register for our three week session running Tuesdays and participate in activities and games based on the works of well loved children’s authors.

Let’s get crafty! We have lots of great Do It Yourself programs running in December including DIY Photo Coasters and DIY I Spy. Or register for some of our art programs such as Holiday Baby Art!. All materials will be provided upon registration.

Looking for tech programs? Register for Code Art where you will learn basic coding skills to create digital art. Or register for our Build-A-Bot workshops and design your very own functioning robot.

Participate in our Create Your Own Gingerbread Person Contest this December for bragging rights and a chance to win a prize. Winners will be announced the first week of January and will be highlighted on our website!

Learn how to prepare some healthy, tasty recipes as you learn basic kitchen safety, food handling, cooking techniques and nutrition with our virtual Cooking Classes. Classes run Thursdays at 4pm. Ingredient lists will be shared upon registration.

It’s time to kick 2020 to the curb! Let’s celebrate all of the milestones we missed this last year with a giant virtual party. Make your own party hat or sign, join our dance party and don’t miss our countdown at noon! Who's ready to ring in 2021? WE ARE! Registration is required.

Adults! Register for Crafternoons or our Colouring Circle programs to unwind and relax in the company of others. Also! Join us every Wednesday night on Facebook as we read a chapter each week. Relax at the end of the night with an adult “storytime”.

Be sure to check out our calendar of events for more information about our virtual programming and to register now!

The holidays are over and spring is just around the corner so it sounds like a good time to purge, as they say, all that is unnecessary and start fresh. This may be easier said than done. For some of us, it means clearing out all that we had collected in 2020 and packing it up for donation or worse yet, the landfill!

It’s only the end of January, but admit it: we can already sense that warmer weather is on its way. And with that comes the desire to get out of the cities and explore the great outdoors.

Three scenarios - does one fit you?

Picture this, you’ve worked hard on this assignment for school and poured all of your energies into getting it all written up. You admire your work, the charts, graphs and beautiful pics you’ve added. You hit the print button on your computer and the flashing printer window appears -- out of ink!

On June 8, the Niagara Falls Public Library began Curbside Pick Up at the Victoria Avenue Library location. As a compliment to the digital collection, the Library is offering access to its physical collections through a Pick Up service that is safe for customers and Library staff.
