Cemeteries
Dictionary.com defines the word "cemetery" as an area set apart for or containing graves, tombs, or funeral urns, esp. one that is not a churchyard; burial ground; graveyard. What it doesn't mention is that cemetery and burial records are among the most valuable tools for any genealogist. Tombstone inscriptions could lead you to a mother, a father, an unknown brother and so much more.
